What was the problem with the Entegra Odyssey 24B?
Purchasing a 2020 24B. The slide out topper came off when the salesman was setting up to show the rv. They are supposed to be fixing it before we pick it up. Has anyone else had a problem with the slide toppers?
Is it OK to put Entegra slideout under Jack?
Concrete and pavement are always best. That said, there is nothing wrong with placing something under a jack for stability, just make sure the footprint is larger than the jack itself for safety. Entegra Coach slideouts are all flush-mounted and electric-powered.
What’s the difference between a Jayco and an Entegra?
This is not the only difference between the entegra and Jayco version. Entegra has the panorama window in the bunk which I like for the amount of light it let’s in. Also the Jayco has a rubber roof vs a fiberglass roof on the entegra.

What kind of slide out system does Jayco use?
The mechanism used by Jayco and a lot of other RV dealers to run the slide out is a system called the Schwintek in wall slide out. Created by Lippert components in the USA. It comprises of surprisingly very little considering the work it does. Two small motors, 2 x aluminium rails a couple of gearboxes and a synchronizing electronic controller.
