How long does it take for a propane gas oven to ignite?
2 year old Whirlpool Imperial Series 465 Gas (Propane) Oven ignites but after 2-3 seconds, the flame goes out. The broiler continues to operate normally.
Why does the flame stay lit for 10 seconds?
I have a Kenmore gas dryer model 110.76722690. The flame stays lit for 10 seconds or so and then shuts off. The duct work is clean. How would I replace the thermostat if that’s the problem?

It stays lit for 5 to 10 minutes and then the entire heater–both the flame and the pilot–shuts down. It lights again immediately and again, the pilot will stay on but the flame doesn’t come on automatically. I take the fake logs out and clean the pilot assembly (including the nozzle the gas emerges from) every time I refill the tank.
