How long can you leave a motorhome?
As with any motor vehicle engine, we strongly advise you not to leave your motorhome parked up for long periods of time. We suggest you take your motorhome for a good run for at least 1 hour every week as this will help avoid seizures, battery issues, tyre walls crazing, etc.
Should you leave your motorhome plugged in all winter?
Generally, you do not need to leave them charging for the entire winter because they will overcharge. Overcharging your batteries will seriously hurt the health of your batteries. If you do not know what overcharging means, overcharging is when you leave something plugged in after it is charged to 100%.
What to look out for in a car that’s been sat unused?
Rubber will perish whether you use the car or not. An oil change and a good thrashing for an hour or two should sort the engine out, then you have a nearly new car. Not sure what people are going on about door/window seals etc. If anything they will perish more if the car is used. Some rubber seals under permanent load may suffer, as would tyres.

The motorhome has been stored outside in Salt Lake City, Ut. It does get below freezing here in the winter as well as summer temps reaching well above 100. I believe it is fuel injected but I haven’t seen the vehicle yet, I live in Montana.

What to do with a car that has been sitting for 12 years?
The guy said he had a 76 Camaro that had been sitting for 12 years. It started right up with a new battery and the fuel water remover. This sounds a bit suspicious to me. Everywhere on the web it says to replace the fuel, add in new fuel, get a new battery, and then *maybe* it’ll drive.
