How to install a new Delta shower knob?
As a previous reviewer stated, the old shower knob had a plastic hexagonal sleeve attached to the stem when I took the old knob off. The new Delta Knob RP17451 has a diamond shaped opening and requires removing the plastic hexagonal sleeve before installation of the new knob. I sprayed WD40 on the hexagonal sleeve and pulled it off with pliers.
