How do you test a spa fuse?
Testing Spa Fuses
- Shut off all power to the spa at the breaker and spa pack.
- Set your Ohm meter to the 1K setting.
- Remove the fuse from the board or fuse housing.
- Place your meter leads on each end of the fuse.
- Compare readings to printed Ohms level.
Why is my spa water not turning on?
The spa isn’t heating, or the water is a lot cooler than it used to be, but everything else seems operational. The water got very hot but then everything just shut down…now the spa won’t turn on, although power seems to be getting to it.
Why does my dead Spa have no power?
The greater disappointment is not being able to use the spa at that moment. If you’ve ever found a “dead spa” with no power, no indicator lights, nothing at all – this post is for you. Here, we outline the seven most common reasons that a hot tub has no power.
Why does my hot tub pump keep surging?
If there is not enough water, air can work its way into and through the jets creating the surge. Finally, if the filters are cleaned and water levels are sufficient, the issue is likely due to a clog in the hot tub’s pump itself, or the pump could simply be too old.
Why is my spa not plugged into the mains socket?
Electrical issue. Can occur when the spa is not plugged into a mains socket. May also be an issue with the RCD socket. Plug the pump unit directly into a mains socket and not into an extension lead. Issue with water flora sensors due to debris build up. The stopper caps are still inside the spa.
