How do you reset an Rvcomfort thermostat?
It is very easy to reset an RV comfort ZC thermostat, and depending on the issue, there are a few ways to reset it:
- Press 00 on your RV comfort ZC thermostat;
- Switch the thermostat in Off position, remove the fuse for five minutes then plug it in again;
Can you use a house thermostat in an RV?
No you cannot use a typical residential thermostat in an RV. The reason is that most of them are designed to use 24 volt AC power, and RVs have no such power source. You can use a thermostat that is battery-powered and that is designed for “millivolt” control systems. Instead, an RV thermostat runs off 12 volts.

Why is my Camping World comfort thermostat not working?
After installation, the Zone 2 rear AC unit, and Zone 1middle AC unit began working properly, but not the front AC unit. The following week, the Camping World AC tech found that the 12V connections under the front AC unit had corroded (I had him check the other two). Thus it appears I had two problems.

Is the RV comfort thermostat 8430-331 an appropriate replacement?
The original thermostat was an RV Comfort ZC, Model 8430-331. My questions are: • Is Model 8430A331 an appropriate replacement for Model 8430-331? • Is Model 8330C331 also an appropriate replacement for Model 8430-331? FYI – I have not been able to locate an 8430-331 model anywhere. Unit 840A331 is substituted when I search for 8430-331.
