How do you read a salt chlorinator?
On the chlorinator box there should be a light or dial that indicates it is working. Take your test kit and place your thumb over the test tube. Then place it right into the eyeball and take the water. Test the water that water has just left the chlorinator – it should have a very high chlorine reading.
What does average salt reading on Goldline mean?
When attempting to recalibrate the average salt reading (default reading {2700-3400ppm}) the pump needs to be running. If the pump is not running, the system will show “NO FLOWâ€, if flashing this is just a warm up process and the unit is waiting for the water to begin moving through the cell to carry the chlorine out to the pool.
How does a salt sensor work on a Goldline?
Also, there is no separate salt sensor in the Goldline units. The cell itself is the salt sensor. They use the current delivered to the cell combined with the voltage and the temperature of the water to then calculate the salt level from the water conductivity. This is basically how electronic salt and TDS meters works.
What do the numbers on LCD on aquarite Goldline control mean?
These panels are known for showing a lower level than the actual salt level because they test using a formula of TDS (total dissolved solids). Go to the Pool Calculator on this site, and enter the number of gallons of your pool. Then put in 2600 for your current level and 2900 for the level you want to bring it too.
How is salt level calculated in Goldline chlorinator?
Besides, water is much cheaper. Also, there is no separate salt sensor in the Goldline units. The cell itself is the salt sensor. They use the current delivered to the cell combined with the voltage and the temperature of the water to then calculate the salt level from the water conductivity.

How to check your Goldline SWG panel salt level?
Visually inspect the cell by looking through it. It should look very clean with no calcium deposits on it. If it is dirty you will have to acid wash it. If not we ahve to look elsewhere. The next step you will have to take if you find yourself with a clean cell is finding your real salt level.
