How do you install a toilet in a new location?
You can install a new toilet as part of a home addition or rehab.
- Cut the soil stack with a hacksaw if necessary so it is even with the finished surface of the floor.
- Place the closet flange onto the drainpipe.
- Remove the closet flange.
- Fasten the closet flange to the floor with stainless steel screws.
Is the installation of a toilet included in the price of installation?
Yes. Toilet and toilet installation parts are not included in the price of installation. Please be sure you have your new toilet and all parts on hand prior to installation, including the flange or floor bolts, wax ring and supply line.
