Where is the AC plug on a Norcold refrigerator?
The AC plug that you see in the back is only powering your AC Heater/s that will cool the refrigerator when running it on AC or Auto Mode. The 12V DC powers the rear power board, the front control board, and the interior light.
Why is my Norcold refrigerator in lock out mode?
For all of the codes above, the symptoms will be very simply that the refrigerator does not cool at all. Infact, you’ll find if you check closely that there is power to your rear power board but no power getting to the AC or LP components. This is because the power board or circuit board is in something referred to as “lock-out mode”.
Where is the high temperature safety switch on a Norcold refrigerator?
The inbound DC connections are labeled on the board and usually located at the bottom right hand side of the board. If there is no power at the board, look to the right of the power board. If you have a 1200 or 1210 you should have a high temperature safety switch (a small black board).
Where is the second pin on a Norcold board?
On this style board, you’ll need to jump the second pin from the left hand side on the top row to ground. It will be an empty slot. If this board does not resemble the one you have on your refrigerator, you have the newer style Norcold board.
