How can I tell if my Raypak pool is working?

Turn gas control knob counter-clockwise to “Pilot” 9. Place flame to end of pilot tube. Push in control knob all the way and hold to light pilot. Continue to hold control knob in for about one minute after the pilot is lighted, release knob and it will pop back up. Pilot should remain lighted. If it goes out, repeat steps 5 through 9.
What causes roll out fuse on Raypak 206A?
Majority of roll out fuse/link opens are from a blocked burner (spider webs). Gas from the jet hits the web and backs up. Cleaning the burners with a stripped wire (solid not stranded) should get the gas flowing in the right direction THEN replace the roll out sensor.

Why does my Raypak pool heater only heat half the time?
If your unit doesn’t have this light, then walk over to your filter pump and check the pressure. Maybe your pump turns on just fine but doesn’t heat the way it used to. For some reason, it seems as if it’s only heating half as well, and taking twice as long.
