How big are the outlet holes in my Pool?
So still woondering if anyone has done this; added two new inlet/outlets. I added an additional inlet to my pool. So now I have a 1 1/2 inch outlet, a regular AGP skimmer and 2 inlets (1 at 6″ below water level and 1 at 32″ under water level).
Why does my Intex pool have two outlets?
We got the same size, but this model has two outlets. We are having problems with getting the pump to run through them. We upgraded this year to a 2800 Sand filter pump from a larger Intex filter pump and are using a Chlorinator after the pump back to the pool. My dear husband spent most of yesterday on this and it’s not working.
What kind of outlets do I need for my new pool?
Having no skimmer will not work out here in the woods, debating on getting a through the wall, just not so sure I am ready to cut the new pool. Bought my 20 ft ultra frame and found it had the 2 outlets as well. I just threw that stuff away and installed 2 regular Hayward SP 1023 fittings.
Why are there two outlets on a pool pump?
There are two outlet lines (ports or holes) from the pool to the pump for legal reasons. Two outlets splits the suction of each port in half. That makes it less likely that a young child could be held below the water line. Regardless.. Your pool kit came with a plunger valve that the two hose lines from the pool connect to.

Pool Inlets. The narrow ports of the inlets create extra water pressure so the water is shot into the pool rather than merely flowing into it. This extra pressure helps distribute the chemical additives (and warmth, if the water is run through a heater) throughout the pool.

Why do I need a second pump in my Intex pool?
I want to add a second pump system as my solar mat panels take too much of the pressure off of the system if I combine (my Hayward vaccuum doesn’t have enough power when in single system). When I run only my Intext sand filter the vaccuum works great.
