How does the black water flush work?

When you connect a water hose to the inlet valve, it will “powerwash” the tank’s interior. The inlet hose connects to a nozzel inside the black tank that has small holes to spray water all around the tank.

Can a Macerator flush a black water tank?
The macerator doesn’t empty the tank like the 3″ hose does. The gray water will back up into the black water tank. Shut off the gray water after a few minutes and let the gray water drain out of the black tank. You can repeat this if desired.
Do you have to use sewer flush valve for Black Water?
You don’t need to use the sewer flush valve as I can transfer the grey into the black which does a real good rinse of the black tank with the soapy grey water. I have heard other horror stories and I have seen one horror story of an overflow.
What’s the difference between fresh water and black water?
One side is for fresh water and the other side has a vacuum breaker to prevent back flow and is used for tank flushing and/or washing vehicles, etc. I found a really good Y last year.
