Can you use gypsum plaster on concrete blocks?
Gypsum Plasters can be applied directly to brick walls, concrete blocks, or RCC surfaces. Gypsum Plasters usually come in ready mix bags. Extract the powder in a dry vessel and mix it with water. Check the thickness of plaster that needs to be applied on the wall. It should not be more than 13 mm
When do you need two coats of cement plaster?
When the thickness of plaster is more than 15 mm or when a finer finish is required, then cement plaster is required to be applied in two coats. For one coat plaster, cement plaster is applied on the prepared surface between screeds with a mason’s trowel.
How long does it take to set plaster?

What do you need to know about workable plaster?
• Workable – Enough water inside mixture of cement and sand. Water used must be drinkable, free from chloride and impurities. Workable plaster will able to cover all irregular surface of the brick wall, increasing bonding surface area, thus improving bond strength between wall and plaster.
