Can you replace the bottom of a vanity?
Fortunately, almost all vanity cabinets use plumbing fixtures that emerge from the wall, making bottom replacement relatively simple. Due to the construction of the vanity, you’ll need to cut the shelf in half to replace it.
How do you fix the bottom of a dresser drawer?
Apply a uniform bead of wood glue to the recess on the detached back piece of the drawer. Apply wood glue to the sides of the drawer at the ends where the back will attach. Fit the back edge of the drawer bottom into the recess on the back piece and push the piece into place.

Slide wood shims underneath the feet of the vanity and then fasten the vanity to the wall. You can cut the shingles so they aren’t visible and then leave them in there.
Where do you put the back of a vanity drawer?
The new back is sitting on top of the drawer bottom and inside the original drawer sides. I used a good layer of wood glue all across the bottom and sides. Then nailed it in place with my brad nailer on the sides and bottom. You can see the nail holes here.
