Just put a splitter (y) on you’re outside hosebib then run a short hose to the sink and you still have a outlet for your hose. I use a cheap plastic utility sink out in the garage so I don’t have to clean anything in the house.
Can you leave an outside faucet on with a hose attached?
Yes! Water that remains in the hose and in the faucet itself will expand as the water gets frozen; this causes the water to expand and damage the pipes that connect to that exterior faucet. That actually happened to someone I know this past December.

Can a hot water line be connected to an outdoor sink?
I connected my outdoor hose to the sink for the water. A line can be connected to both the hot water handle and the cold water handle, though obviously there will be no hot water. In my setup, I only have one line running to the cold water handle.
