Are there any issues with the Movano front wheel drive?
Drive train problems, whether front or rear wheel drive seem to be the biggest issue. Movano gearboxes are made of cheese. There are gearbox issues with some early Vivaros and gearchange mechanism problems on Movano up to around 2005 as I understand. I have checked the options list and no, I cannot find a listing for a gearbox made from cheese!
Which is better a Movano or a Peugeot?
I can get a 2008 Movano for the price of a fairly poor 2003 Sprinter. I chopped my 2007 Vw T5 in for a 2008 Peugeot Boxer. The Peugeot is better made, more reliable, quieter, smoother, more powerful & a country mile cheaper – well worth a look.

Which is better a Movano or a panel van?
Your thoughts as well as those of many owners I have now spoken to all suggest that these vans are a far better bet than the industries most preferred vans for motorhome panel van conversions. I just wish the loadbay was the extra few essential inches wider so that I could comfortably consider an across the van bed!

Are there any problems with the 2006 Movano?
The pre 2006 Experts we ran to over 200,000 miles with very few problems, the 2007 new vans have been dire and we still have about 115 of them. All sorts of problems with anti-roll bars, driveshafts, engines, body panels cracking etc. A totally different proposition to the earlier van.
